Swimming Owl

Look what I found in my pool this afternoon! The Missouri Conservation Commission told me to put a long stick under it, and sure enough, the Owl grabbed the stick and I lifted it out.
It took about two hours for the Horned Owl to dry off and leave. We have owls around our house most of the year, we hear them in the fall mostly. The bird people here told me that the owl misjudged the depth of our pool water because of it's clarity.
