I have a Barred Owl family that nested in one of the oak trees in our front yard last winter. In April 2020 they had two babies,
and we ended up rescuing one that fell out of the nest as a chick (with the help of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife). All four have
stayed around our property and it appears they have just made their way back to our tree this year to nest over the winter.
Since this happened I've become educated on owls and I love having them around. Here are some pics I got from last spring.
