Original Wildfowl and Fish Sculptures are created using wood as the main medium for the primary subjects. Power tools are used to form and shape the sculpture and to then create the fine detail. The power tool is similar to what a dentist will use in their practice. The habitat is created using brass rod and foil, brazing rod, and wood depending on the needs for support and strength. Branches with leaves will require the use of brass or brazing rod for the branch itself, while brass foil is formed and shaped to create the leaves. The sculpture is then painted using Acrylic paints to create a realistic effect in color.
