Young Rufous Fishing Owl roosting in a small tree
The Photographer writes: "This bird was seized in December (2003) from a local poacher trying to sell the young owl in Duékoué, Central Western Côte d'Ivoire. The bird had bumblefoot and, in spite of antibiotic treatment, died in a few days."
